QA Manager (Furniture)

Job description

Quality Assurance Manager (Furniture) at Yes4All will be responsible for developing and implementing quality control processes and procedures to guarantee the consistent delivery of high-quality furniture products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality management, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead a team of quality assurance professionals.

Quality Management System:

● Develop, implement, and maintain a robust quality management system for the furniture product line.

● Establish and document quality standards, specifications, and inspection criteria.

Quality Assurance Team Leadership:

● Recruit, train, and manage a team of quality assurance professionals.

● Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the team meets quality objectives.

Quality Control Processes:

● Design and implement quality control processes to ensure all furniture products meet or exceed established quality standards.

● Conduct regular audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement.

Supplier Collaboration:

● Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to establish and maintain quality standards for raw materials and components.

● Conduct supplier audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with quality requirements.

Testing and Inspection:

● Develop and oversee product testing and inspection procedures.

● Coordinate with third-party testing laboratories, as needed.

● Implement in-house testing protocols to validate product quality.

Non-Conformance Resolution:

● Investigate and analyze customer complaints and non-conformance issues.

● Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues.

Documentation and Reporting:

● Maintain comprehensive documentation of quality processes, test results, and inspection reports.

● Generate regular reports on quality performance and key performance indicators.

Continuous Improvement:

● Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality processes and systems.

● Implement best practices to enhance overall product quality and customer satisfaction.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

●       Bachelor‘s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field. Master‘s degree is a plus.

●       Proven experience 8-10 in quality assurance in the furniture industry.

●       Strong understanding of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies.

●       Previous experience managing a team of quality assurance professionals.

●       Familiarity with furniture manufacturing processes and materials.

●       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

●       Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
