RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY
Propose AI Solutions:
- Propose automation and AI solutions to improve speed, accuracy, and efficiency. Prioritize and plan high-impact AI initiatives.
Lead Development Execution:
- Turn approved ideas into clear action plans.
- Manage the technical team to build and deliver AI tools.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
Build & Lead the AI Team
- Hire, train, and mentor AI engineers
- Lead best practices in development and experimentation.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Operations, Marketing, Finance, and other departments.
- Align AI initiatives with business needs.
- Support digital transformation across Y4A
REQUIREMENTS
Skills
AI Strategy & System Integration
- Identify business processes that can benefit from AI automation, predictive modeling, and intelligent decision-making.
- Architect and implement AI-powered features using private in-house data and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) techniques.
Technical Leadership
- Lead and manage a ~15 person development team ML/AI and full-stack.
- Guide end-to-end development: from data preprocessing, model design, to deployment and monitoring.
AI/ML Development
- Develop and fine-tune models using BERT, GPT-based LLMs, and related transformers.
- Work with structured and unstructured private data to build NLP, forecasting, and recommendation models.
System & Tooling
- Build real-time, simulation-based AI systems with Python, Go, Node.js.
- Use frameworks like TensorFlow.js, Brain.js, and integrate with various AI SDKs.
- Ensure robustness, scalability, and performance in deployed AI features.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with business units to align AI development with operational needs.
- Drive data maturity and infrastructure improvements to support ML/AI initiatives.
Experience
- 6+ years leading software development teams (10–30 engineers)
- 2–3 years direct experience in ML/AI feature development
- Proven experience building and deploying AI/ML systems into production
- Strong expertise in Python, Go, Node.js
- Familiarity with BERT, GPT, and transformer models Experience with RAG, private in-house dataset training
- Hands-on with TensorFlow.js, Brain.js, AI SDKs
