RESPONSIBILITY AND AUTHORITY
Quality Assurance Leadership and Policy Development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust quality assurance policies and procedures that align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Ensure that all QA policies and procedures are effectively communicated and consistently applied across all departments.
- Conduct regular reviews and updates of QA policies to reflect changes in regulations, standards, and evolving business needs.
Quality Control and Process Optimization
- Establish stringent quality control standards and procedures for raw materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Implement inspection and testing protocols to monitor product quality at every stage of the production process.
- Partner closely with production teams to swiftly identify and address quality issues, ensuring prompt resolution and the prevention of defects.
Audits and Compliance Management
- Plan and execute regular internal audits and inspections to assess compliance with QA policies, procedures, and standards.
- Coordinate external audits and inspections by regulatory bodies and third-party certifiers, ensuring full readiness and a smooth audit process.
- Analyze audit findings and spearhead the development of corrective and preventive action plans to address non-conformities and boost quality performance.
Continuous Improvement and Methodologies
- Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, process efficiency, and overall customer satisfaction.
- Deploy quality improvement methodologies like Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Total Quality Management to drive process optimization and defect reduction.
- Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging employee involvement, providing quality-focused training, and recognizing achievements.
Supplier Quality Management
- Define supplier quality requirements and establish criteria for supplier selection and evaluation.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to evaluate capabilities, performance, and adherence to quality standards.
- Work collaboratively with suppliers to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and promote continuous improvement.
Training and Team Development
- Design and deliver training programs focused on quality assurance principles, procedures, and tools for all organizational levels.
- Provide coaching and guidance on quality-related matters, fostering a culture of awareness and accountability.
- Identify training needs and growth opportunities to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the QA team and other key personnel.
REQUIREMENTS
Knowledge
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Skills
- Leadership & Team Management: Ability to lead, mentor, and develop QA teams to meet quality and compliance standards.
- Strategic Planning: Expertise in designing and implementing quality assurance strategies that align with business objectives.
- Process Improvement: Proven ability to identify inefficiencies, drive process improvements, and optimize quality control procedures.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective reporting, training, and cross-department collaboration.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills to assess root causes, develop corrective actions, and prevent recurrences.
- Project Management: Ability to manage multiple quality projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Change Management: Skilled in leading quality improvement initiatives and change implementation across departments.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Proficiency in analyzing quality metrics and generating insightful reports for management review.
- Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for documentation, analysis, and reporting.
Experience
- 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in developing and implementing quality assurance processes and procedures.
